The Church of St. Boris and Gleb
The Church of St. Boris and Gleb (Kolozhskaya church) is a unique architectural monument of Grodno. It was built more than 800 hundred years ago. The church was created by an ancient architect Petr Miloneg who used just simple materials for the building such as stone, brick, glaze and lime. The most interesting is the interior of the temple. On the floor we can see a very complicated ornament made of coloured tile. For better acoustics in the building workers wall in jugs made of clay.
In 1405 near the church captive people from Kolozhy village lived, since then the Church of St. Boris and Gleb has one more name – Kolozhskaya church.
