Arrival at “Minsk-2” International Airport (The Central Railway Station). Transfer to the Hotel with a guide. Check-in at the hotel. Breakfast.
Minsk Sightseeing tour: visit to Orthodox churches and Roman-Catholic churches, including one of the most magnificent Red Catholic Church of St. Semen and Helen. Visit to modern architectural establishments: The Palace of the Republic, Minsk Central Railway Station, The National Library, etc.
Visit to the Memorial Complex “Khatyn”. Khatyn, a former village in Logoysk region of Minsk area in Belarus, has become a symbol of the tragedy of the Belorussian people, a mournful page in the history of the Great Patriotic War. It was burned to the ground with all the inhabitants (149 people, including 75 children under age were burned alive. The youngest baby was only 7 weeks old.) The memorial complex which embodies the idea of courage and rebelliousness of the people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the victory was constructed at the place of the destroyed village of Khatyn in 1969. It commemorates all the people (2 230 000 Belarusians) who perished in the war.
Visiting of a mountain-skiing complex “Logoysk” and Olympic sport comlex “Raubichy” where a lot of world championships took place and which is called “The Belarusian Switzerland” because of the picturesque vicinities of this place.
The you move to The Mound of Glory – a monument which commemorates courage and heroism of the soldiers of Soviet Army. The excursion takes place in the most picturesque place of Logoysk area.
Evening cultural program for choice (theatre or circus)
The excursion to the museum of material culture “Dudutki” (40 km from Minsk) including the visit to a real windmill, the pottery, the smithy, the cheese dairy and the bakery, the museum of old cars. You can taste kvass and cheese, butter and milk (for extra pay).
Dinner in Dudutki (national cuisine) or in Minsk. Free time. Buying of souvenirs. Shopping.
Breakfast.The excursion to Mir and Nesvizh. The 16th century's Castle of Mir offers an example of architecture of this period. It has features of the late Belarusian Gothic. In the 16th century the castle was rebuilt in the style of Renaissance. Today it has features of Gothic, Renaissance, defensive and palace architecture.
Nesvizh sightseeing tour, including the Palace and Castle Ensemble founded in the 16th century and built by Jan Maria Bernardoni, Corpus Dei Roman Catholic church (16th century) built also by Bernardoni, a patrimonial burial-vault for the Radzivills, Slutsk Gate (16th century), the Town Hall (16th – 17th centuries), Castle Gate Tower (16th century), Benedictine monastery (17th – 18th centuries). Departure for the station. Shopping. Transfer to the “Minsk-2” International Airport for your departure flight/ Minsk Central Railway Station.
