Minsk – Mir – Nesvizh – Brest – Kamenets – Minsk

 

Day 1.

Arrival at "Minsk-2" International Airport, transfer to the chosen hotel, check-in at the hotel. Free time.

Minsk sightseeing tour visiting the place, where the city was born (11th century), the Upper town (16th – 18th centuties) with the Russian Orthodox Holy Ghost Cathedral and St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, the Trinity suburb (19th century); Isle of Tears, Independence Square (20th century) with its Government Building (1929 - 1933) and Red Roman Catholic Church of the early 20th century and others.

Dinner at the restaurant (national cuisine). Free time.

 

 

Day 2.

Breakfast.

Travel to Mir (56 km) The 16th century's Castle of Mir offers an example of architecture of this period. It has features of the late Belarusian Gothic. In the 16th century, the castle was rebuilt in the style of Renaissance. Today it has features of Gothic, Renaissance, defensive and palace architecture.

Travel to Nesvizh (40 km)– a former residence of the Radzivills – medieval Belarusian magnets. Nesvizh sightseeing tour, including the Palace and Castle Ensemble founded in the 16th century and built by Jan Maria Bernardoni, Corpus Dei Roman Catholic church (16th century) built also by Bernardoni, a patrimonial burial-vault for the Radzivills, Slutsk Gate (16th century), the Town Hall (16th – 17th centuries), Castle Gate Tower (16th centuries), Benedictine monastery (17th – 18th centuries). Transfer to Baranovichi.

Lunch.

Travel to Brest (340 km South-West from Minsk). Arrival in Brest. Check-in at the hotel.

Dinner. Free time.

 

 

Day 3.

Breakfast.

Brest sightseeing tour. It is situated on the border with Poland, an important railway junction and a starting point for motor tourists travelling to Belarus from West­ern Europe. It was founded in 1019 at the conflu­ence of the Bug and the Mukhovetz, the city has an old fortress made a memorial after World War II events; "Berestye" - archaeological open-air museum with the 11th - 13th centuries, structures and relics. Visit to Brest Fortress Defence (the end of the 19th century).

Lunch .

Travel to Kamenets (39 km). It was founded in 1276. There is a monument of defensive architecture there - Kamenets Vezha ("White Tower"). It was built in 1276-1288. Kamenets sighseeing tour. Transfer to Minsk.

Dinner. Free time.

 

Day 4.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel. Transfer to the “Minsk-2” International  Airport for your departure flight
