Day 1.

Arrival at "Minsk-2" International Airport, transfer to the chosen hotel, check-in at the hotel

Free time. Visit to the Russian Orthodox Holy Ghost Cathedral. Dinner.

 

Day 2.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Minsk sightseeing tour includes the place where Minsk was born in the 11th century, architectural, historical and cultural monuments of the 17th - 18th centuries, historical part of the city – the Trinity Suburb and the Orthodox churches. Visit to the Museum of Old Belarusian Culture featuring weaving, embroidery, old icons and wood-carving.Visit to the Local Arts Museum with icon-painting section.

Day 3.

Early breakfast.

Travel to Polotsk. (252 km) - the oldest Belarusian city (founded in 862) and the centre of old Slavonic history and culture. Polotsk is famous for its 11th century St. Sophia Cathedral, Convent of St. Ephrosinia of Polotsk (12th century) a Saint benefactress of Belarus, Saint Ephrosinia Church (12th century) where the Cross of Ephrosinia, the national heritage is kept. Visit to the Museum of Book-printing - one of the best in Europe. "The Stone of Boris" - the example of old Slavonic culture, its weight is 25 tons. Transfer to Minsk.

Day 4.

Breakfast.

Travel to Khatyn Memorial Complex erected on the site of the village of Khatyn - one of the 186 Belarusian villages burnt to ashes by the Nazis during World War II. Visit to the Orthodox Churches in the town of Logoysk. Visit to the Raubichy Folk Arts and Crafts Museum that is displayed in the former Krestogorskaya Church. Exhibits the folk costumes, fine fabrics, articles made of straw, pottery, weaving, icon-painting

Dinner with folk show.

Transfer to Minsk. Dinner.

 

Day 5.

Minsk - the Monastery of Zhirovitchy – Minsk

Travel to The Monastery Of Zhirovitchy (190 km), which is known since the 15th century as a place for orthodox pilgrims. The Convent of the Nativity of the Virgin, the Theological Seminary. Joint service and meal. Transfer to Minsk.

Day 4.

Breakfast.

Visit to the Museum of Country Architecture And Life on the open air in Strochitsy (18 km from Minsk) displaying the original pieces of rural architecture from various regions of Belarus as well as numerous domestic utensils, articles of applied arts and agricultural implements used by the rural population in the past. Visit to one of the orthodox churches.
