You may arrive at Belarus by bus from any point of Europe. In Minsk there are three international bus stations: Central Bus Station, Eastern (“Vostochnaya”) Bus Station and Moscow (“Moskovskaya”) Bus Station. The French company “InterCars” also has the representation in Minsk.
Moscow (“Moskovskaya”) Bus Station is the leading squad in the transport system of the city. Most of the suburban bus routes as well as far trips to Europe and Russia take place there. The Central Bus Station is one of the leaders in sales volume of passenger traffic in Minsk. Annually it transports more than five millions of passengers. The Station which was opened in 1962, in 1999 was rebuilt. After the reconstruction it became a place of note due to its design in the style of postmodernism.
The Central Bus Station started its work in 1962 and for many years it has been the main station in Minsk. It is situated near to the railway station.
Nowadays Central Bus Station is being rebuilt.
